How are we meant to do the work we are called to do when upheaval and uncertainty pile onto competing priorities and the constant demands of daily life? How do we create when chaos leaves us feeling hopeless, exhausted, and overwhelmed? In this highly interactive workshop, we’ll explore how to create in the face of what frightens (enrages, baffles, overwhelms) us with curiosity and creativity, compassion and connection.

From pandemics to political upheaval, turbulent times often amplify the voices of our Inner Critics. Long-standing messages concerning (sometimes condemning) our abilities, worth, and confidence are compounded by contemporary fears and anxieties. Self-censorship creeps (or crashes) in, just when we need our voices the most. Sorting out what’s true (internally and externally) is a significant challenge. For anyone who fears they are losing (or have lost) their voice, is struggling to get words on the page, feels as if their creativity has dried up or drained away: this workshop will help you find your way through to your own creativity, your own stories, your own voice.
