About Interpretive Guide Training
Whether you're brand-new to interpretation or an old hand looking for a refresher course and the latest in interpretive techniques, interpretive training from Greenfire Creative will give you the knowledge, confidence, and competitive edge you need.

Interpretive guides include folks who present formal programs (for example, in an amphitheater or around a campfire), lead museum tours, answer questions at the information desk, guide adventurers down a river, help vacationers spot wildlife from the deck of a cruise ship—in short, anyone who is actively involved in engaging visitors and helping them understand the important stories and messages of a place and its people.

Effective interpreters present information in ways that enhance the visitors' experiences, helping them understand the stories of the place they're visiting and connecting them to something new, perhaps even something bigger than themselves. Effective interpreters also benefit the companies, agencies, and organizations they work and volunteer for by furthering the mission and purpose of those organizations.

In Greenfire Creative workshops, we help you become more skilled, confident, and effective in creating and presenting interpretive programs. You'll learn how to connect your passion and enthusiasm to your knowledge of the resource (whether the resource is natural, cultural, historical, or some combination) and to the principles of good interpretation.
